They include live streaming, video on demand, video feed management, content delivery, registration, networking, audience interaction tools, sponsorship integration, and analytics and reporting.  Now, we are evolving our digital MVP into an Event Experience Platform that can connect 1 million+ participants online, and we are growing our Digital Technology Team to help get us there.

YOUR MISSION

As our Digital User Acceptance Testing Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of all digital assets, across websites, social media platforms, email and event platform partner pages, and others.   

As part of our Client Delivery team, you’ll work as a team of one to start, collaborating closely with our Marketing, Sales, Product and Development teams and be the driving force for assuring the best possible quality of digital marketing deliverables to our clients.

  • You have a keen eye for colour, design, visual identity, wording and brand messaging.
  • You find joy in being a critical eye and discovering and reporting issues, impact and severity before others see them. 
  • You can communicate and explain an issue in different ways and in great detail in French and English. 
  • You thrive in small, agile teams and fast-moving agency-like work environments.

 

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform manual User Acceptance Testing and Quality Assurance on all defined projects, design initiatives or content implementations
  • Execute against test plans that encompass multiple devices, platforms, and browsers
  • Test deliverables against business requirements, intended design and functionalities, and accessibility standards 
  • Identify and resolve inconsistencies and errors in grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
  • Find and address inconsistencies in style, design, colour and branding
  • Track, document and communicate the status of testing activities, and provide defect tracking reports
  • Provide feedback on existing testing methods, processes, tools and systems and suggestions for improvement
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Product and Development teams

 

YOUR SKILLS

  • 2+ years of professional experience in manual web and digital content user acceptance and quality assurance testing, ideally in a digital creative agency or other dynamic environments
  • Understanding of website architecture, content strategy, creative design, and ongoing maintenance of existing digital content
  • Experience working with UX/UI designers and developers in a fast-paced environment using manual workflows and collaboration tools
  • Hands-on experience coordinating and documenting user acceptance testing across teams and presenting findings to various levels of an organization
  • Have a good understanding of basic modern web and digital technologies 
  • Interpersonal skills required to communicate testing issues with partners and internal development team members.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to balance multiple priorities
  • Bilingualism (French-English)

 

Full-time permanent position, start date as soon as possible. 

Remote work because of the pandemic. 

Location: Montreal preferred, but will consider remote candidates in Canada.
