YOUR MISSION

 

Working closely with the Strategic Marketing Director, the Multiplatform Content Producer is invested with the mission of finding, developing, and creating content across C2 Montréal platforms and C2 International client projects. In tandem with several in-house teams (Business Development, Content and Creation, Marketing and Audience) as well as multimedia projects (e.g. C2 Aquarium), our Multiplatform Content Producer is a storytelling savant who delivers a wide array of creative services.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Video production

  • Acting as a bridge between various stakeholders (marketing, business development, social media, programming, production), holding meetings, and ensuring masterful execution from start to finish
  • Pre-production: planning angle, workback, etc.
  • Sourcing and training C2 interviewers and hosts
  • Working closely with those in charge of speaker relations and programming, executive assistants, and other stakeholders to schedule the editorial video/audio interviews published on our platforms
  • Working in tandem with C2 partners (RBC, IBM, Queen E, Gouvernement du Québec, Sid Lee, Cirque du Soleil, The Globe and Mail, etc.) to deliver relevant partner content that aligns with C2’s methodology and brand image
  • During events: acting as the maestro of live content to produce and/or record for our public platforms (social media, website, newsletter, etc.), managing technical teams and other onsite resources to ensure that everything stays on schedule, fielding audience questions, making sure all our speakers get their photo taken, conducting last-minute interviews, and managing the thousand and one unforeseen events that can (and will!) arise
  • Post-production: viewing all the videos, transcribing all the interviews, generating time codes, coming up with fresh elements to incorporate (images, stats, citations, B-roll, etc.) and sending them to the video production team for editing

 

Writing, editing, and editorial consulting

    • Staying on top of the trends in business, creative industries, news, and events that are relevant to the C2 content ecosystem
    • Developing and writing editorial content (newsletters, web, and social media) and original video content that promotes C2’s enlightened leadership—within set deadlines
    • Brainstorming with the teams in charge of editorial, marketing, design, and social media content
    • Contributing to post-event marketing content initiatives (The Takeaways, C2 Magazine, etc.)

 

  • Ad hoc consulting, research, writing, and editing for various C2 teams: marketing, business development (OOO, decks, etc.), social media, and programming
     

 

YOUR SKILLS

 

  • B.A. in Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or related field
  • 5 years of agency, newsroom, or other media experience  
  • Exceptional writing and editing abilities with sound judgment vis-à-vis current events
  • Fluency in best practices re: printing, production, and broadcasting, as well as in multimedia tools  
  • Bilingual in English and French  

 

 

Full-time permanent position, start date as soon as possible. 

Remote work because of the pandemic. 

Location: Montreal preferred, but will consider remote candidates in Canada.
